Enjoy yourself!
AJS.COM is a wiki for several reasons, but high on that list is the fun of being able to just edit something. The site founders are HTML and Web experts, but we find wikis eliminate a lot of the hassle and bring others into the process in a way that turns a Web site into a community of ideas. Try it out!
There are a few rules, though, so read on before jumping in.
Style
There are some style guidelines that you should read. Mostly they relate to formatting, or would be obvious anyway, but please do read them.
No personal attacks
A personal attack is a statement that is intended to hurt, insult or intimidate another user. Short form: don't be rude for rudeness sake.
Don't edit what isn't yours
If you want to fix the spelling on someone's home page, that's fine, but where a page is designated as being a particular user's (e.g. by placing it in a category relating to them), please defer to them in all things related to that page.
By corollary, edit or create anything that does not have such disclaimers and is not an official policy page like this one, all you like! That's what wiki are all about!
No ads or spam
Any edit that adds content that advertises a product or site out of context will be reverted and the user banned. This is not a Google Page Rank booster, this is a personal Web site.
