AJS on Gnutella

Gnutella is an important new tool on the Internet. It allows people to share the files they have on their systems (selectively, of course). Better yet, it allows everyone who shares a file to contribute to others who are downloading it, so downloads are lightning fast without having to burden any one server.

For example, I share a file on Gnutella called tequila-bottles-colors.jpgMagnet-icon-9w-10h.gif. If that link doesn't work for you, you probably need to get some file sharing software. If you use Linux, I suggest gtk-gnutella. gtk-gnutella may not install a magnet link handler by default. I keep the script that comes with the gtk-gnutella source code on my server, and it has instructions in it. If you use Windows, Shareaza seems to be a full-featured client.
