Adrick Garthûn

Adrick Garthûn is a wealthy member of the Cauldron merchant class. He's a one-eyed dwarf, and tends to think highly of other dwarves, but has no special opinions of non-dwarven races, good or ill. His import business is rivaled only by Maavu Arlintal, though he claims that he holds no personal grudge against Maavu, but Maavu seems to dislike him.

Background

His missing eye is covered by a leather half-mask with a gem inset over the socket. He says that he lost his eye long ago when he fancied himself an "adventurer", and it's the reason that he settled down to a life of business. He could get the eye regenerated now that he has the money to pay for such services, but he finds that the missing eys reminds him of the folly of youth, and keeps him from making such mistakes again. He sees adventurers as foolhardy risk-takers, but wishes them well.

Dana

Dana met Adrick outside of a fruit stand on Magma Avenue, and they began to talk. Adrick enjoyed the company and invited her to the Coy Nixie for dinner where they spoke of Adrik's problems with Maavu and his adventuring days.
