Time travel
Cheadle has been hurtled through time recently by unknown forces. He has been absent from the party for much of this time, while he shot forward to a time when he was on the plane of Mechanus and backward to his youth. The cause of his (and the party's, to a lesser extent) time slippage is not clear, but the party has been told that whatever forces caused the problem, they are probably catalysmic, and will involve something south of Verbobonc.
