Davked Splintershield is the father of Zenith Splintershield, the former defender of the Malachite Fortress, the gateway between Cauldron and the Underdark.
Curse
Davked was cursed by his dying wife with a wasting disease that can only be removed by making peace with his three sons. He has done so with his other two sons, but Zenith disapeared long ago into the Underdark, claiming that he was going to rid it of evil.
Now, Davked believes that Zenith is being held at a kuo-toan shrine named Bhal-Hamatugn, and he has hired a group of adventurers (through the helpful efforts of Celeste) to go there and bring his son back to him before it is too late.
