This fictional location is part of the Than Greyhawk Dungeons & Dragons role playing game.

Highport is a city on the northern coast of the Pomarj along the Woolly Bay.

The city is a testament to the power of trade. Even with devestation still showing in most of the city from the time of the Greyhawk Wars, the city does a brisk trade in the black market between the Free City of Greyhawk, Nyrond and other points east. There is even a carefully indirect trade with the actively hostile Ulek States; such is the power of the black market. This trade is managed by a nominally independant city council that reports to Turrosh Mak.

Nearly any race can show its face in Highport, though the darker races such as goblins and duergar tend to remain out of sight during the daylight. At night Highport is a truly dangerous place, and an unprotected traveler is quite likely to end up a slave or pressed into service on a pirate ship or worse....

Slave trade

The city has historically been a source of slaves sent to the south. The Slavelords and their characteristically yellow-sailed ships made the city rich from the slave trade, and when the Slavelords were stopped, the slave trade did not end; it was only greatly slowed. Today, unprotected women, children and healthy young males of just about any race are in constant danger of being "acquired" by the slavers when travelling alone, especially at night!

Piracy

Highport has long been the center of piracy on the Woolly Bay, and that has not changed in modern times. If not for the military strength of Turrosh Mak, and the need to concentrate on the everpresent threat of Iuz, the good kingdoms of the Flanaess would have long ago banded together to crush Highport's docks and end the threat of piracy.
