Than Investigations

Than Investigations is Than Mason's private investigation company. It was founded by Than, but is now jointly owned by Than and some of his former employees.

The law

Private investigation companies aren't common in Verbobonc, so there's no such thing as a PI's license, but Than has done some work for the city guard, and as a result has documentation that allows him to come and go in places that are normally off-limits to the average citizen. This access doesn not give him the ability to violate the laws of Verbobonc, however, and he has no authority to arrest.

Rumors

After a job that went so poorly that the client (and old friend of Than's) died, rumors began to spread about Than Investigations. To Than's shock, the rumors were quite positive! Unknown to Than, one of the people he hired for the job was responsible for spreading the rumors which mitigated most of the harm, though they were grossly exadgerated by word of mouth.
