Miskaton (Armory(T, P)) is an alt, and was my primary character for a long time. I continue to play him, though I have a new character as well (Zot^{Armory(T, P)}). He is a member of Saturnalia, though not an active member. Zot and Himalountain are my active characters in that guild.

Talents

Misk has tried out all of the specs for hunters, and likes them all, probably in order: BM, Surv, MM. It's not that I dislike MM, though. Currently, he's instancing and leveling as BM and has a devilsaur pet for dps and a pig for leveling/off tanking.

Speaking of pet-tanking, I intend to do some work on determining just how viable an off-tank a pet is these days. My impression from theorycrafting is that they should be pretty decent. They get nearly uncrittable with talents and have reasonable threat generation (assuming their owners have good gear). Of course, they'll only ever be single-target tanks. Even owls can only really single-target tank elites, though they can gain initial agro on a crowd in a pinch.

Mounts

Miskaton has a mount-purchasing hobby. Currently, his prize mounts are:

• Swift Brewfest Ram (WowheadPricing)
• Horn of the Black War Wolf (WowheadPricing)

He's working on some of the BC flying mounts and will eventually purchase a mammoth once I scrape the 20k together.

Well, this section was all horribly outdated. I'll put some of it back when I know what I need out of Wrath at 80.
