Noboom (Armory(T, P)) is one of my characters in World of Warcraft. A dwarven hunter, he's leveling fast with a friend of mine who is playing a Warlock.

Talents

He's still low level, but see Miskaton Armory(T, P) for what his talent tree will probably look like at high levels.

Right now, he's pursuing what I consider to be the standard progression for any (non-PVP twink) low-level hunter:

  • Endurance Training 5/5 and Lethal Shots 5/5 in any order you like - These improve your DPS and survivability more than any other rank-1 talents
  • Improved Hunter's Mark 5/5 - This gives your pet (and party members when you group) your bonus to attack power from Hunter's Mark. Good DPS
  • Go For the Throat 2/2 - Extra focus is key for BM builds.
  • Focused Fire 2/2 - Extra dps plus crits later on when you're high level. Can be traded for Thick Hide if you wish.
  • Improved Revived Pet 2/2 - Never underestimate how important this talent is. Downtime is the XP killer.
  • Thick Hide 1/3 - Could also put this point into Improved Aspect of the Hawk
  • Unleashed Fury 5/5 - Now you start getting into the heavy pet dps improvements
  • Ferocity 5/5 - Which continues here.

After that there are a number of options, but you've gotten to level 32, and you'll have more of a sense of how you play. Some involve more MM (marksmanship) talents. Some involve some SV (survival) talents. Most involve going deep BM (best mastery) before anything else. Remember that a leveling build is not the same thing as an end-game build. You're assured of lots of PVE solo fights, and should be tuning your character for maximum leveling speed.
